After a widely successful first-year partnership, Breathe LA is renewing its commitment to a clean energy future by further reducing its carbon dioxide emissions and carbon offsets through Carbonfund.org.

Last year, Breathe LA offset 70 metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions by supporting climate-friendly projects, including renewable energy, energy efficiency and reforestation projects chosen by Carbonfund.org.   By offsetting their carbon footprint this year, Breathe LA is furthering their mission of making people and the environment healthier through clean air technology, research and education.  This commitment further establishes Breathe LA as an environmental leader in the environmental community and demonstrates the proactive steps Breathe LA is taking in the fight against global climate change.  By following Carbonfund.org’s motto, ‘Reduce what you can, offset what you can’t,’ we’re able to work together towards a cleaner environment –clean air, healthy lungs and all.
