World No Tobacco Day TEXT 2 QUIT

Student powered event with activities and prizes!
Kate Swartz will tell you, or anyone who asks, that Tobacco Education is "what I do." Kate, a dynamic USC Health Sciences student has volunteered for TEXT 2 QUIT World No Tobacco Day event on May 30 to teach teens about the dangers of tobacco and the shortcomings of tobacco packaging health warnings.
She has also challenged fellow students from both USC and UCLA to compete to see which school can recruit more students to take part in the BREATHE LA 4UNI Teens Helping Teens Quit Smoking TEXT 2 QUIT EVENT. World No Tobacco Day is a global event celebrated by BREATHE LA each year
Join teens, USC and UCLA students and lung health professionals while they TEXT 2 QUIT, sending "Quit Smoking" messages by text while they ( multi-task! ) hula hoop, play ping pong, toss bean bags and learn from Kate Swartz and others determined to drive teens away from the tobacco habit.
