Web Marketing Intern / Volunteer Opportunity @BREATHELA
Dynamic and talented individual needed to help with online marketing efforts to raise BREATHE LA brand recognition on the web. The ideal person will work closely with the web developers to enhance web traffic and online donations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and execute strategy for internet marketing to increase BREATHE LA’s brand recognition.
- Determine the return on investment on various marketing schemes and report on their effectiveness.
- Assist BREATHE LA in building a strong presence on Web 2.0 and social networking communities (i.e. Facebook and Myspace)
- Compile and analyze data to forecast trends, and provide input and make suggestions for increasing BREATHE LA’s online presence.
- Research potential interactive advertising opportunities, track industry trends and conduct competitive analysis.
- Outreach to increase Breathe LA’s web presence on partner organizations’ sites.
Qualifications:
- Experience with web analytics and marketing software, such as Omniture, WebTrends and ClickTraks.
- Knowledge of search engine metrics, or related direct response marketing.
Can work from home or from Breathe LA’s office on Wilshire Blvd. Flexible hours.

Familiarity with Facebook, MySpace and other social networking sites.

Stay current with software applications and web design trends.

Multi-tasking skills, self driven.

Good written and oral communications skills

Bachelor’s degree preferred but not essential, college students are encouraged to apply and driven high school students are also welcome

General interest in working for non-profits.
