Air pollution includes a number of harmful substances that can be found in the air. While some types of air pollution come from nature, most are man-made. When air pollution levels rise, it can cause a serious threat to both your health and the environment.

ADVOCACY UPDATE

BREATHE LA is actively working to ensure the implementation of legislation that promotes emissions control and reduction. A major focus is currently underway to aid in the implementation of the AB 32 Global Warming Act and to address initiatives that would deter this implementation. BREATHE LA is also actively involved in the Los Angeles 30/10 Plan to expedite public transportation plans already approved for Los Angeles County.
