Environmental Education O24U

Environmental education for inner-city school children.
BREATHE LA O24u program is provided to low income children ages 8-14 years in after school care within air pollution impacted areas of Los Angeles County. 024u introduces children to concepts including:

• air pollution
• environmental changes
• health effects of air pollution
• toxic indoor environments
• alternate fuels
• renewable energy

Fun hands-on activities empower children to make a change for clean air in their homes and communities. Children learn to:

• use non-toxic cleaners in their homes
• reduce, recycle and reuse
• advocate for clean air
