Learning Objective: 

To identify asthma and allergy triggers within various environments

Procedure: 

Begin by reviewing the Health Effects of Air Pollution module and Descriptive CAUSES
Bingo Cards (download/print).


As a learning tool, review descriptive cards and allow the participants to identify (individually or as a group) the conclusions to the card statements and illustrations. Depending on size of class (in groups or individually), hand out blank asthma and allergy bingo cards ( six varieties are available : download/print).

Call out from the descriptive cards used previously to see who has bingo.

Discussion: 
  • Did anyone learn of a new source of asthma or allergy?
  • Which of the sources can we prevent being in contact with?
  • What can we do to help lessen the effects of asthma?
Groups:
