BREATHE LA invites you to ensure Los Angeles County schoolchildren enjoy BREATHE LA O24U Environmental Education Program.

BREATHE LA O24U Program provides environmental education to children in after school programs throughout Los Angeles County. BREATHE LA O24U fall sessions will be offered in more than 5o after-school sites including Long Beach Boys and Girls Clubs, Beyond the Bell and LA's Best.

BREATHE LA Pollution & Solutions Salon Series was held at the California Endowment on August 15, 2008 and featured a lively panel discussion on

"Zero Emissions and Carbon Footprints: A Green New World?"

( introduced by BREATHE LA Board Member, Andrea Caster). Panel of Experts, S. David Freeman, Board of Harbor Commission President; Steve Glenn, CEO of LivingHomes and Romel Pascual Green LA, Office of Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, with Moderator Claudia Peschiutta, KNX 1070 AM Reporter, enjoyed a lively and wide ranging discussion of the need to move forward quickly to make personal, legislative and policy changes to address looming climate change catastrophe. "We're in the fight for our lives," said S. David Freeman, "and we need to address this with a sense of urgency."

Asthma Lung Power is BREATHE LA Asthma Management Program provided to school children in day camp settings in Los Angeles County.
