WHO: BREATHE LA with researchers, physicians, health educators, nurses and concerned members of the public
WHAT: COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) is the fourth leading cause of death in Los Angeles and in the U.S. The most common manifestations are emphysema and chronic bronchitis.
The conference will feature the latest advancements in e-health and fitness techniques for rehabilitation, while discussing the advocacy and engagement to overcome social justice and high health costs of COPD under-reporting in California. BREATHE LA funds innovative research in COPD and translates findings to Better Breathers Club workshops.
