About 4-U-N-I: 4-U-N-I Teens Helping Teens Quit Smoking is a Beverly Hills High School – BREATHE LA partnership founded by high school students. The first Chapter of 4-U-N-I was created in 2007 as a student-led, BREATHE LA supported, teen-to-teen quit smoking program. 4-U-N-I inspires and supports peer-to-peer teen quit smoking and can be implemented in other high schools with materials available on BREATHE LA website.

About Red Ribbon Week (Oct. 23 to Oct. 31): Red Ribbon Week began after the kidnapping, torture and brutal murder of Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Agent Enrique "Kiki" Camarena who died in-the-line-of-duty in 1985. In his death, he became a symbol for prevention in order to reduce the demand for illegal drugs and illegal use of legal drugs in America. The following year the California State PTA adopted the Red Ribbon Campaign. In 1988, Red Ribbon Week was recognized nationally.
