BREATHE LA Tuberculosis Program

BREATHE LA Tuberculosis (TB) Program coordinates the efforts of the TB Planning Council and Tuberculosis Coalition of Los Angeles County, and is steadily gaining momentum in outreach and increased awareness of Tuberculosis in L.A. County.

World TB Day

BREATHE LA TB Program is instrumental in planning World TB Day activities for March 2008. World TB Day is an internationally recognized day designed to promote awareness of TB throughout the world. BREATHE LA TB Program, in collaboration with the TB Coalition will present a World TB Day Health Fair in March 2008.

BREATHE LA TB Program outreaches to community groups to strengthen and increase membership in the L.A. County TB Coalition. The T.B. Coalition is also pleased to debut the Coalition E-Newsletter "T.B. L.A.", sporting a new logo designed by logo competition winner, Brenda Aguilera. The newsletter is a combined effort of BREATHE LA and the TB Coalition, and features informative and timely articles on TB with updates on events and activities of the TB Coalition.

Additionally, BREATHE LA TB Program continues to provide support and guidance to the TB Planning Council and its steering committee. We look forward to continuing our work in increasing awareness of TB in Los Angeles County.
