Boeing Funds BREATHE LA O24u Environmental Education

BREATHE LA O24u funded by Boeing Co Chairtable TrustBREATHE LA O24u Environmental Education Breakfast Briefing Friday July 17th had something exciting on the menu. James E. Herr, Senior Manager of Boeing California Region Global Corporate Citizenship presented BREATHE LA with a check for $50,000.

The funds, provided by Boeing Charitable Trust, will provide BREATHE LA O24u Environmental Education Program ‘Train the Trainer' implementation in Long Beach WRAP (Winners Reaching Awesome Potential) a consortium of afterschool providers serving approximately 10,000 students.

The funding will also help to establish a mentoring partnership with the Los Angeles County Environmental Charter High School (ECHS) in Lawndale to prepare teens to teach O24u to elementary school students starting in Spring 2010.
