BREATHE LA Protects the Breath of Life : promoting clean air and healthy lungs through research, education and technology.

Healthy Lungs

Welcome to the Healthy Lungs group, where we focus on the various ailments that can effect the lungs. BREATHE LA has a focus on Asthma and COPD. We provide programs, information and outreach and conduct research on Asthma and on COPD ( Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease ). We were founded in 1903 to address then-epidemic Tuberculosis and we continue to support the Tuberculosis Coalition of Los Angeles. We'll keep you up to date on the latest news and research and let you know about advocacy opportunities. We also encourage you to share your thoughts and feelings related to living with lung disease or loosing a loved one to lung diseases including lung cancer.
