Green Salon: Neighborhood Council Environmental Initiatives
Part 2 of BREATHE LA Green Salon Series Examining the Green Streets of LA BREATHE LA and community leaders will gather on May 19 at 7:00pm at Los Angeles Valley College for a special Green Salon presentation. The salon will showcase best environmental approaches practiced by neighborhood groups, and will offer immediate ways people can save money by greening efforts in their homes and businesses. This is the second of five Green Salons sponsored by BREATHE LA in 2010. Moderated by Jason Schaff, editor of San Fernando Valley Business Journal

The third annual Green Salon Series focuses on the Green Streets of LA: how the Los Angeles community is taking on sustainable solutions as they relate to California's landmark legislation, AB 32 Global Warming Act. BREATHE LA Green Salons are free and open public forums, encouraging a robust Q&A session. Light refreshments are served at each event. BREATHE LA Green Salon Series is sponsored by Union Bank.
