Call to Action: Transportation Funding
BREATHE LA attended the Wilshire Corridor Forum today to learn more about what we can do to address traffic-related quality of life and air quality issues.
One thing we can do right now is to contact ALL members of the Los Angeles Board of Supervisors to encourage them
to “VOTE for HOPE” Thursday July 24th
We hope you will support this effort by sending an email to EACH of the five Los Angeles Board of Supervisors
to encourage them to support county funding for expansion of the Wilshire Corridor subway line (to Westwood, Westside or West Coast/subway to the sea)
BREATHE LA mission to promote clean air and healthy lungs clearly aligns with the goal of improving mass transit to reduce emissions.
Another thing we can do is contact our State representatives to encourage them to support the Feurer Transportation legislation. Learn more from Michael Fuerer.Groups:
