Enrique Chiock

As president and chief executive officer for Breathe California of Los Angeles of Los Angeles County, Enrique Chiock is a driving force behind the organization and directly responsible for its day-to-day operations. Chiock utilizes his 30 years of experience in the non-profit sector towards establishing Breathe California of Los Angeles County as a leader in clean air and breathing-related issues, and lung-health research.

His tenure with the organization began in 1980 - when it was known as the American Lung Association of Los Angeles County - as the director of finance and administration. After working closely with the organization for more than ten years, he was appointed president and CEO of the Association's L.A. County chapter in 1994.

Prior to working with the American Lung Association, Chiock served as the controller for the community-based organization Community Cancer Control Los Angeles. He has also served on numerous committees and governing boards, including the California Society for Biomedical Research; USC School of Public Health Advisory Panel; Air Quality Management District Asthma, Outdoor Air Quality Consortium Board; and the City of Los Angles Mayor's Blue Ribbon Panel, assisting the Department of Social Services.

Chiock received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos in Lima, Peru. He currently is closely involved in aligning advanced technologies with environmental and health care respiratory issues for the benefit of the medical profession and those inflicted with lung disease.
